In the quiet depths of sorrow, where memories linger like whisper in the wind, I find solace in cherishing the remarkable life of my beloved son Faizi Ahmad Siddiqi. MD. FACS. His journey was one adorned with brilliance, kindness and unwavering dedication to his chosen surgical specialty, pediatric plastic surgeon. As I write down these words, I embark on a journey of remembrance, honoring the legacy of beautiful soul who graced this important surgical specialty of corrective surgery, in children with desperate parents looking for the best for their children. Faizi was highly trained and a gifted surgeon, a loving son and a cherished friend. From very beginning , my son illuminated the lives of all who came in contact with him. His innate curiosity and thrust for knowledge propelled him towards the noble profession of surgery. With unwavering determination, he embarked on the long and difficult path of medical school, went through long process of residency in surgery, fellowship in plastic surgery, further more special fellowship in pediatric plastic surgery, correcting the hare lips, cleft palate, craniofacial deformity in infants and children.He honed his skill and cultivated his passion for healing. His sprit lives on in the countless lives he touched and memories he left behind. Faizi as surgical director gathering a team of nurses and technicians carried on annual cleft mission to Guatemala for surgical correction of cleft and craniosynostosis anomalies.  All those who came in contact with him will never forget how he made them feel. He was not just a surgeon, he was a shining example of humanity at its finest. Rest in peace Faizi, you will always be loved, cherished and remembered.

Faizi as a migrant belonged to educated professional family, delivered much more grace to the parents, much beyond expected, to the family and  to the great institution and its community he served.
